Por fin encontre lo que andaba buscando. El programita en cuestion se llama m740avplayer y basicamente lo que permite es ver y codificar las grabaciones de mi pvr Siemens Gigaset M750T. Es para linux y requiere las librerias GTK+ 2.8.x. Hasta ahora estaba usando cridmanager -desarrollado en Java- por ser la única opción que encontre y que nunca termino de gustarme.
